Its been a long time since i posted in the blog i guess. I wrote something from the airport of Abu Dhabi though This blog post is about my experience in America for a month.

* Its like a tradition to blog about the experience in foreign land, just to showcase that we are in some beautiful, litter free, nature bounded, foreign land My precursors did that (babbu, preethika), so i am also doing the same

* The taxi fares are damn high. Fast Tracks at Chennai were damn cheaper. I use to get tensed seeing the meter ticking in rupees, but here in dollars, i was like , oh mommy… im gona throw u in a deep debt

* Food was okish at seniors place where i stayed for first few days, rather two weeks Seniors reached peak of their cooking expertise in the second week and i daily had some descent desi food

* Hotels start with a dish of $5 and its like multiplying with 50… ooooo…I was not happy about my decision (still confused) to land at US and do masters and stuff. Because for the first two weeks, i was like completely down in confidence due to non availability of jobs on campus. Here we have to go to each and every department and ask for job (Assistantship). I was so humiliated to do so. All Indian students would print some 30 resumes per day and take it in a bag and give them at all offices. Som offices would have sign boards, (Dont Disturb, We call Police)

* Referrals play a significant role here. So the SSN college guys were having an edge over everyone else (that comes around 4-5 ppl). Its an SSN branch at Chicago to be fair. Finally i cleared an interview with credits only to me, i was sitting in front of an interview panel. After few hours, im declared as the new Research Assistant of the department. I was like ufffffffff. Relaxed relaxed relaxed…

* After these Assistantship waves, Avani Avittam came. I was like totally blank about the procedures and Shankar brother(annan, mani, annan!) came to ma rescue. He helped me in carrying out the rituals and wicked ram prepared some awesome vada and payasam.

* After getting offer letter from department regarding fee waiver and stipend, i was relaxed and started to worry about the courses, which was my primary concern while applying algos prof is damn hot and im really having no idea what was going on for the last three classes. She is fuming hot

* Further updates abt ma Americas stay will be in future posts. Already guys are planning to go to Florida in December so, Bhuvana, meet u in Florida soon

Yeah. Actually this is not ma first time to some foreign land, but its ma first blog from a foreign land

Its the wealth capital, Abu Dhabi. The airport is awesome and the architecture is astonishing. The main drawback here is, i see more familiar desi faces than the expected, foreign magazine faces. Come on, still i have to travel some more time to get immersed in those colorful magazine faces.

Abu Dhabi in short :
* More number of toilets than passengers
* Its more like a shopping mall than some gigantic airport.
*The interior architecture reminds me of some Mosque like fort near Delhi
* The language they speak here (must be some crude form of arabic) is awesome rhyming
* Not only wi-fi facility, but also free systems are here, thats why this post

Everything in life is our first time at some point of time. For example, our first class in school, first outing with friends, first kiss, first …. we encounter the first time at some time. I encountered lots of first times in a very short span, say within a week. These are my first times in a week…

1. First time in the last 4 years, i didnt check ma mail for 3 whole days…

2. First time , i saw two gals hitch hiking a lorry in some glittering dress and heavy make -up. If you want some direct words, i can use , road side hookers

3. First time, i felt as a complete man, when a gal told, she will suggest ma name to her parents when they are looking forward for her marriage.

4. First time i felt deeply incapable, when ma cousin sister asked for some food to suppress her hunger in a bus journey and i had nothing to offer…

5. First time i felt so much vacuum in terms of emotion, when i failed to feel even a single thing, for ma cousin brother’s death.

**update**: finally i missed ma cousin, when i was traveling with my other cousin. we were 4, now, just 3…oopsi…

6. First time i waited in a mortuary entrance with some enchanting smell of yesterday’s humans for more than 30 minutes, to receive a corpse.

7. First time, i was completely awake and didnt talk, sing or text for two full hours. I was filled with silent for such a long duration in the so far life time…

8. First time, i felt, ma mom is very stupid and mean and so many more things, for cursing God for her nephews death… ( Never blame a non-existing entity for anything)

9. First time, after so many years, I felt, ma dad is some what good

10. First time, i felt like, im not writing some stupid post, but also felt others might not feel the same way

ps : First time, you can comment on ma blog and it might be some precious thing in your life when you look back after some 10-20 years, that you commented on such a great person’s blog (T&C).

T&C – i should live that long, so as you. the mentioned thing is subjected to market risk, i may not become so popular too…

Just some random scribblings for 10 minutes and here comes a new update in ma blog.

1. It was Divs marriage last friday at tirupathi (part of world’s richest country- Andhra). I went there by taking a days off from office. Awesome time there including meeting venky. Nice to see her so happy and with lot of jewels. Money all over the place

2. Fought with magi for not telling me about their outings with tcs fellas. Fought for some time. Later its Magis Bday man. so got him a sooper cool Tamil book and a cocktail.

3. Manju’s story reached a climax finally. Somewhat happy ending after so many problems.. But…. arun guy, i pity you

4. It was chennai sangamam (get together at office account level). I anchored the session along with Bhuvana. My wish of having a drink was not satisfied, but spent some wonderful time with her….

5. The girl who impressed me a lot these days is not responding properly now. wtf wrong with me in approaching…. or how do the gals find it so soon, that im a fraud ?

6. Samba didnt send his debit card photo copy to jaya, even then jaya got the flight and reached chennai. Had a great time with jaya and other guys this weekend. Poor Maha Sanath, got her head banged against a street pole in a bike race.

7. Kudi’s Love story, most awful story, since i heard it for 4 times in 3 days. Not to mention his romancing with the churidhar’s shawl of ‘V female’. Ms.V, please do something in order to mute this guy.

8. Planning a lot about a new business opportunity and not yet getting it started. Awful managers of time, me and ma friend suck at it a big time.

9. Planning to file papers in office. Preparing for a great good bye. Before that, have to tease all ma managers here.

10. I got tonsured twice within a fortnight

These are not gona improve our Economic condition, but definitely a good place to spend time….scribbles to be continued…

The roots extend deep to my 1st standard, when i called devi, ma akka. Since then, i am having lots of akka. Time passed and few akkas like krithika akka and priya akka, went out of contact. The other people, i would never lose in ma life. Lets dont get emotional. As usual, we (here ‘we’ means – I) have some people to tease

Lets start….

1. Jeyanthi akka

Actually, i cant pull her leg much, since she shifted very near to my residence and mama might kick me. You know, the unfortunate thing for her is, mams might join me and tease her. She is one of her kind. A government bus announcing to people in the bus stand to board the bus for Jeyanthi’s marriage. Such a great influential person in Dharapuram ( dont search google maps, you might not find ). She cooks really cool. If you are a jaundice patient, its for you even diabetics can enjoy it. She is such a life saving cook. Enormously blessed with java knowledge and documentation work Jeyanthi akka to sum up, a comical sister.

2. Bhargavi akka

She is a calm storm i got to know after entering the world of Projects in IBM. Such a dedicated worker (mostly some chats will be on screen). Spend more time in call with bava. She is learning cooking for past 2 years, still cooked for only 3 days (all survivors asked her not to proceed further it seems). She talks in Tamil occasionally with cab drivers that wouldl make them stand infront of L&T, that is more than a KM away from our company. Such a good tamil practitioner. Her Shining quotient increased 7 % after drinking 134 grape juices at the rate of 2680 bucks in order to equalize bava, but bava simply glows Importantly, she is a self-parasite, eats her fingers (no more nails) all the time. Akka, your birthday present from ma side will be a glove….

3. Ranjeeta Didi

The most funniest gal i have ever seen (no more gal, she is a lady now). She is such a rock star, you will enjoy her presence (not in the same project though). She is yet to introduce her sissy miki to me yet. We at office, laughed like anything while seeing her marriage photos. She drinks a packet of coconut chutney just like that and eat a full plate of thandoori chicken. She fears needles and we made her cry for a vaccine On our trip to Kodaikanal, she is one such entertainer with circus lead dressings. Workaholic unlike ma other didis, blessing Pune with jiju

4. Parul didi

She is one of ma closest didis. All others are little bit elder and she is younger of them ( see i mentioned that you are younger), but elder than me ofcourse. She looks and acts so dumb, but a real Einstein She cooks really awesome, with all ready made mixes She grows 1.3 mm every week (in width alone), thanks for moms almonds She had some serious fans in our training (i still cant believe it). She is good at mockery with stupid faces. She is just looking a guy intently and important thing is, she didnt even say a ‘hi’ yet ( I said ‘hi’ to the gal i was seeing recently). Anytime she might waaav me with an announcement abt jiju Recently i agreed to sponsor for their honey moon abroad (will be updated once everything is disclosed)

5. Jaganya Akka

Akka a sensational character one could ever come across. She is such a sweet person. She cares for me like anything with no reason. She worries for me for no reason. After its all true love for an awesome brother She is so dumb at moments and will start blinking with our teasing. Akka is a cool adorable creature in the world. I love akka so much like i do love me

6. Sweet Sudar

I have a sweet little sister and she is the most adorable person i have ever come across. I scold her, tease her, make a fool out of her (not sometimes, but many times ), but still she is ma sweet. She gives me lot of advices regarding gals that always sucks. She spoiled ma cool future with Gold (name changed) by pasting ma chat abt her in their chat box. She is such a devil. She use to live in prince world which eventually degraded with her constant contribution to IBM I am the God Father of her kid

Above all i have ma own sweet chocolaty youngy sister jai. She is a xerox of me and she wont read this anyway. If you read, jai, i just wana say you are stupid and not the above sweet lines

Recently added sister (younger) Priya

Its a plan that was made when we were at the end of our 6th semester. Babbu initiated it and we use to plan a foreign trip every semester from then, out of which none got executed. Kuddos to Sid, we finally got our Passport stamped with foreign seal for the first time

It was a completely different experience in an alien land. We roamed to all the possible places in the city-country. We stayed in Little India which was great place for south indian food stuff. To be honest, it is the only odd man out in Singapore ( a little bit clumsy area).

Stars of the trip….

1. Trip to foreign country, got ma passport stamped
2. Had a Coffee at StarBucks
3. Saw more than ten smooches a day
4. Did Sight gals with tiniest possible shorts and thinnest possible shirts
5. Had Entire body massage by a cool, beautiful and ofcourse, sexy girl
6. Been to a show with a great host, Judy akka rocked that night show (pics below)
7. Observed the fact Chinese are more clumsy than Indians
8. Got a new friend – Arun Kumaran
9. Heard one of the best love stories in return journey
10. Stayed for 4 days in a Red Light Area (unimaginable – but truth)
