I just want to make some difference in some minds so that, they don’t fancy much about god or religion and concentrate on much more meaningful deeds.

Religions may have initially formed to do those things in disguise, but it is not in the same position nowadays. The rituals are done as rituals and not with meaning behind them

When we want to make the people do good, there is no need to hide some debatable facts from the holy books. I agree (it doesn’t matter) that the holy books have many many good things in them and why not even few people are ready to discuss about the flaws in them.

Only if something is questioned and discussed, the thing gets interesting. I propose that the ideologies in Islam are to tackle the flaws or baseless beliefs in Hinduism, which may sound really stupid and a complete misunderstanding.

So why cant we discuss about something, rather than advicing each other ?

You may be well matured to follow any principle or an ideology and understand it. Not all of them are like you. So, in order to make them understand and follow those principles, every religion tries to create a story and make them realize the impacts of following the principles stated in the religion.

Atleast, in Hinduism, that is the case. So, assuming that Ramayana, Mahabaratha are just stories and it has some factual errors, why do you care about that. What are they trying to convey is more important than the facts. By reading Ramayana, you understand so many good things like guru bhakti, respect your parents, marry one girl, be truthful to your friend etc etc. So, why not take it. You don’t want to worship RAMA as a god, that’s fine. But why do you want to take a dig at the ones who do that?? Take all the good things and leave aside the ones you don’t need.

Coming back to GOD fearing idea. Well, simple you have to be feared of someone/something in order to stop you from doing something wrong. Not everyone is matured enough to do the right thing always. At a certain age, when you are exposed about what is right and wrong, you will tend to do wrong things. At that point, if you have the fear that some one is always watching you and you will be punished (heaven hell concept) for doing wrong things, you will definitely (most of the times) not do it. That is the whole idea behind it. That is what i think. If you always do the right things and you don’t need someone to watch you, leave it. You don’t have to worry (fear) about it then.

One last thing, Religion is for all people and not everyone has the same level of maturity and intelligence. So, look at it from everyone’s point of view. Then, you will find more meaning in it.

PS: Atheism is definitely becoming a fashion. By projecting them as an atheist, people tend to show them as a more modern civilized person!! You cannot realize/accept that as you are one among them!!!!

We r taking good things from everything… Rama was a noble man, one life, one wife, he made friends with all.

Similarly, im telling, the goodness in other side is blackened or the goodness of the good side too much boasted… i read it as a book and i want to tell my opinion about the authors misuse of the holiness to spread his ideas… Ramayana is good and ppl see it as good vs bad and see only good things, that doesnt mean everything else in the book can be ignored, i just wanted to point out what i felt… simple…

-Have you heard abt Ram-Sethu?! Why would it be required if the Demon land was a ‘integral’ part of India!
